She got stuff to settle 1st leh... Haha. I also keep telling her to quit. The working hours really total crap. But save this for chalet ba. HAHA.

Hmm since when did I mention "luxurious" salary? All I know about mentioning that working adults have the luxury of earning salary, not getting "luxurious" salary. Note the difference in the words im using. ・____ ・

As for leave issues, no I'm not mentioning anyone of you. I'm also aware of those who managed to take leave for the chalet. Greatly appreciated them. I'm only trying to mention if there are anyone out there who has lots of leaves but thinks it's not worth taking =)

But let's not debate about all these further, coz I am here to bring in the good news (probably a lucky one too).

I have successfully booked Garden Terrace I for our TaikoDojo cum Cosfest chalet 2010. Details of my booking as follows.


And just to let everyone know, I was quite lucky to get this chalet due to sudden increase of booking of chalets during these two - three days. Even the bungalows, pool terraces and sea view chalets have been fully booked, and this was the only chalet left available. I had to use my emergency savings for this since I can't wait for pay day or the chalets will be gone. So guys, we're confirmed on 2nd and 3rd July, and book out on the 4th at 10.30am.

I'm in. Can Kyon please give a final estimate of people coming asap?

Okay, we've past the deadline, and thus we have 14 confirmed members/friends and 5 on tentative listing. Also no one opted to drag the chalet till the 5th too. This looks like the final listing, so I may not take in anymore XD

For now, I've managed to revise the price to $30.00+@25.00+. This is determined after much revised calculations based on total turnout and expected BBQ cost. Price applies to all now, be it one or two night stay. Shall collect by 1st June '10.

And so with the booking of chalet done, the turnout of members finalized, and BBQ still on the way, time to officially declare the TaikoDojo cum Cosfest Chalet 2010 on!!

See, if we have 15 people, and each one contributes $25, that'll be $375

Minus off the $160, we still have about $200+ for BBQ, which should be enough according to the previous posts.

One night would do, probably Sat night since I think there will be more people coming. After Cosfest on Sat, latest 7pm, we can start the BBQ, nice time around then too.

Estimated cost, we'll have to see the total number of people coming. But we can cut cost like if anyone has spare disposable utensils, you can always bring them down. As usual, we can always buy stuffs at a cheap place.

For my chalets, we usually head down to Bedok to get stuffs there because, you know, Sheng Shiong is quite cheap... Stuffs like drinks and food, we can get there.

Update we have the following members/friends who will be attending. And I assume nt everybody staying all the way ?? dun forget BBQ falls on SAT 3 JULY. My suggestion is all stay over for friday itself also, since u had pay for it why not enjoy one more day on there also ^^.

Okay, $25 shall it be for now then. I shall collect this amount from everyone latest by 1st June. Details on how you can pass me the amount shall be revealed soon. It definitely is more than enough time for everyone to save up, so no reason for unable to attend due to can't afford the fees. And for those who are on tentative list, you've got ample time to ensure that you can keep yourself free these coming three days. =)

Now that it has been made an official event, next up would be what to bring for the chalet. That shall be posted up soon too. Do look out for it XDD


PS. btw I managed to contact Ricky yesterday, he says that he might or might not have overseas attachment during that period, so just continue put him on tentative list for now. As for Syuuko, she can only come on Cosfest Day 2, which means the chalet would be over by then XDD

Because I think if we can get 20 people to go, we can charge just $20 per pax. $400-$150 for chalet room i still have a budget of $250 for BBQ food and I can cfm this is more than enough. Especially if you guys can volunteer to bring paper plates, cups and DO NOT MIND DRINKING SYRUP. Last year we had soft drinks for BBQ and we went thru the bottles like tap water. Too ex. Unless we do it such that EACH PERSON brings one 1.5L bottle of soft drink.

Some people just buay zi dong and drink and drink like nobody's business without thinking about others lor. Some more want to complain this that. Total Cheapo.

And anyway, this time round who wanna drink, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS TO CONSUME.
