Animation Asia Conference (AAC) will be held in conjunction with AFA09. Influential Speakers (Like DC, Kadokawa's CEO and more) will be coming down to address mainly on the Animation Industry. (You need tickets and they cost $480, student tickets are also available and will be announced soon. If you're into the Animation Industry in the future or is already working in this sector, you might want to take a look and see)

Don't know yet... I'm still trying to dig more information from them but this is what they have atm.

I'll be going for K-ON! For sure + Hakuou Gakuin Seitokai "approved" chop.

Answers I'm waiting for are:

Which day will who be performing?
Does the concert ticket include the entry fee?
Will the concert be in the same hall as AFA09 or would it be in the ballroom/conference room?
Would one concert ticket gain access to ALL the concerts? (If it does, then very worth it liao...got so many performing leh)
Any pros/extra stuffs for the concert ticket? (Like last year VIPs gets to "cut queue" and Diamond VIP gets the autographs) (I'll die for any of the K-ON cast autograph, especially Mio's or Yui's... (No Sawako pl0x))

Let's give them some time first... I'll update then I get the answers. (Busy busy)

Feel like getting the concert ticket...19 october..... Need more details though

I getting the 2 day concert ticket for sure. BUT THEN MONDAY (School duh).

You can book your concert tickets at:
http://www.sistic.com.sg (Only can use credit card)
or you can go to their outlets (Can use Cash, NETS or Credit card) (Go to SISTIC website and press Agents. The whole list is there)

Probably bringing the credit card to school, registration time = log in to SISTIC and fire away!

For normal tickets, the usual applies. You can pre-order the tickets beforehand and collect before the event starts or you can start queuing on the event date itself. (Details will be provided soon again)

I'll update here as soon as there are any information.

I'm also planning a schedule to minimize time loss, queuing time, and other delays as well as mapping out the things we should hit first at the event (due to popularity).

If got autograph with the K-ON! seiyuus, I'll bring my 4 posters for them to sign on ^^.

There will be a 4m wall erected so probably the space for the non ticket holders watching would be smaller.

As for K-ON!, not too sure yet, I'll try to get more information and I'm also waiting for an e-mail from them...

They sent an e-mail back to me, below are the response.

I asked about ticket collection, ticketing difference and cosplaying wise. Below are the answers. As of now, we have to wait a while more

First of all, thank you for your interest in AFA09! Allow us to address your questions, starting with your ticket enquiry.

1) SISTIC will be handling all aspects of the concert ticketing, including collection. You would have to collect the tickets through SISTIC agents, not at the event itself. As for the number of tickets available for sale, that detail is still being finalized at the moment, and thus we are unable to provide a solid figure at this time.

2) That is correct, the primary difference between the two day ticket and the one day ticket would be the number of performances that you can see, with minimal secondary differences such as the appearance of the passes. There will be no queue distinction between concert pass holders and normal pass holders this year.

3) We are still working on the guidelines for the free entry for cosplayers, but please rest assured that our system will be professional and fair. More details will be announced once they are ready.

For those interested, 2 days concert tickets are already on sale.

One day concert ticket would start sale on the 26th October, at 9am for online and 10am for hotlines and agents.

Also, those who do not want to get the concert ticket, the normal tickets are also up for pre-order.

You can only get 2 days normal ticket from pre-ordering. One day tickets have to be bought from the venue itself.

Ticket pricing:
2 days concert: $188 (Add $6 for booking fees) = $192 (Excluding collection fees)
1 day concert: $108 (Add $3 for booking fees) = $111 (Excluding collection fees)
*Collection fees from the agent = add $0.20* zzzz

2 days normal ticket: $25 for public, $20 for student (Ready for pre-order, but has to be collected on the 20th Nov or on sale on the event itself)
1 day normal ticket: $15 for public, $12 for student (Only on sale at the event itself)

Apparently, I look through the AFA site... and what disappoints me is..

Nakagawa Shoko won't have an autograph session; they'll only distribute pre-autographed CDs of her.... damn, so much for hoping to meet her up-close ><
