TaikoDojo Retreat 2010 (18th Dec 2010 - See FB for details)

Hi all!!
It's been a while since we meet up, ain't it?
Haha, last july chalet was fantastic and fun!

This time round, I'm planning to have something like our own TaikoDojo Retreat 2010 sometimes later in late November 2010. Because that's the period I'll be on my exam leave and my exams won't be ending till late Nov and I can't apply for any more leave after that, that's why I hope the chalet can be on around the last week of November. But I need to know how many of you can make it.


TKDJ Retreat can be combined with X'mas celebration as well, if you guys want it?
Or we can celebrate our TKDJ 2nd Anniversary too, haha
The retreat will be held in a 2-storey terrace chalet by the pool or sea-view bungalow. Whichever chalet that has very big capacity so that all of you won't be squeezing together like sardines. More comfy, More spacious, More Fun. =D


As promised, I'll be sponsoring half of the chalet for you guys but i need to know who's interested before i ask makio to help me book and settle the rest of the necessary things.

The more expensive the chalet, the more you all pay, you think the rest will still come?
A $25 chalet already so hard to collect money and ask people come lor.

It'll be the civil servant chalet which makio can help book with staff price, but this time round will be much more spacious. =3

BTW Adri, can you help out with the BBQ thingy for this upcoming one as well? =D

Most of you guys can make it at the end of Nov??
Around 26th to 28th that period?? I wanna know if it clashes with your exams or etc.. If most people can't make it on that period, then i'm not sure how liaoz sia, cos' i can't take any more leave by then.

sch exams like end of year exam or even O lvl should be completely done around first week nov.. so there shouldnt have any problem regarding clashing with exams.. whether i can come a not depends on the location and the amount of the chalet.. that all i can say.. =)

umm that definitely does NOT clash with o levels so it should be fine for most ppl XD

As long as it doesn't clashes with AFA, I'm ok with it and I will come.

This time I propose we go out cycling and have fun instead of staying inside and playing...

I don't think it'll be clashing with AFA cos' i'm suggesting our TKDJ Retreat to be on around 26th - 28th Nov 2010. Because the few exams I have this term spreads in Nov and ends on 25th Nov. So suggesting it to be on the last weekend during Nov.

Is it okay with everyone?

Don't worry much about the cost of the chalet. I'll be sponsoring half of the cost as promised. Hopefully it's affordable enough for you guys.

26th to 28th November? Looks nice. I'm ok with it.

(AFA confirmed on 13th and 14h November liao so won't clash, and exams are over by then around there...)

What about the rest?

Retreat 2010 update: There will NOT be any chalet for this upcoming Nov/Dec. This event will be cancelled buuuuuut it will be replaced by other events rather than chalet!! TAIKO SENTOSA BEACH TIME ANYONE?? =D

I'm planning to have the outing at Sentosa. Day time = Beach, Night Time = Universal Studio~

uhn yuu, i think mika matsuri means what do YOU GUYS do at the chalet O_O

Lolz, "you" or "you guys" doesn't make any difference now cos' there's no suitable chalet liaoz. We'll have mass outing instead. haha

27th Nov 2010. This date clashes with all my events. T-T
And it's a rare chance for Taiko to be featured in such big event, so can't miss also..

Dec 2010... the final month to conclude the year 2010...
