Modified Game Consoles

Nowadays when I go to game or PC shops, none of them are selling modified versions of various game consoles like Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3, Xbox 360, etc anymore. It's been gone like for a few months already. Anyone knows where can we still purchase them... underground?

For now I'm looking for a modified Japanese Nintendo Wii set with consoles.

As the newer version comes by, it is getting harder to modify.

Say, you can get them "underground" but there are risks as well. You'll have to try getting them from shops that are partially owned (like a console vendor off someone else shop).

Best way I can offer is to get the original console, wait until the local warranty is over, mod it yourself or with the help of someone (Sadly I don't know how to mod these 3 consoles, only PSP [yes, I can mod PSP3000 as well])

Great, now I am thinking of getting a US or Japan based Nintendo Wii and then modifying by installing a homebrew that can handle region unlock, so I can play games from anywhere around the world. But is there s hop capable of such things nowadays?

There are, but very rare now days. Chances of finding this shops in Singapore is low as compared to a year ago.

No need to search further, coz I finally found my Nintendo Wii MODIFIED at a shop nearby~~ YEAH!!!

Sad i cant mod mine cause then i cant DL songs for my rock band 2.
