Hello everyone, i am new here. Sry duno how to self intro, but here goes...started play taiko no tatsujin 11 at arcade cause of playing wif my fren, but end up also like to play the game, didnt own consoles to play, only play at arcade, only frequent downtown east and AMK, cause jurong point has too many people, and far from my house, still not very good at it, only like to play the same songs

You'll learn to appreciate taiko more and can train on different songs from your usual, cuz can get one of us to support you for songs considered hard for your standard =)

btw what's your usual level of play? (like muzu 7 stars or smth)

Muzukashi (short form Muzu) is the tree mode (the dark green color) 困难
So Oni mode = 魔王
Futsuu = 普通
Kantan = 简单

Don't worry, since you frequent DTE or AMK often, you sure can pass one of these days de~ =D

now wan to try reduce the missed notes to 20 or below for seasons of asia, feeling that dragon spirit is too difficult for me,

Dragon Spirit is doable. Don't let the 8* rating scare you!

haha..try that for many times..the notes scare me..especially need to hit very fast

Lolz, it's good for training too, and i'm sure you'll get it if you play even more times. =D

Can say, for beginner, it helps to train stamina because of the continuous notes "that never seem to stop"

But if you can get the beat down, it's easy, especially they repeat a few times throughout the song.

lol good luck with your seasons =] it's not too hard so should be ok passing. I like that song too ^^

ya...i managed to miss only 19 notes in seasons of asia, i know i very bad at hitting blue notes effectively and fast...very big problem

lol not bad! keep it up! as for the blue notes prob, you just have to keep practising =]

A tip for you, go to the reverse one (the one after 4x speed, the one that reverse the notes. Blue become red, red become blue).

Since I suppose you can play Natsu Matsuri (夏祭り) on muzukashii, that would be a good training song for you as there are triplets. If you can play Kitasaitama2000 (きたさいたま2000) on muzukashii as well, another good one.

If not just stick to Natsu Matsuri.

oh...i once thought it reverse the hitting method...actually i can quite handle 3 blue together...but when it is diff colour notes stick together i get mess up very badly...

It's hard to give appropriate advice because we don't know how you hit the notes - are you able to alternate hands (left-right-left-right), or do you use one hand each for d and k?

The advice for each method would be very different, especially if you're still on the latter, which is alright for easier songs, but it impedes improvement.

er...i use 2 hands for most cases, but usually only use the right for k, except it is 3 k at once then i use 2 hands

Ah, I get what you mean. Almost everyone here starts off like this. I still get derailed over "long chains that are confusing".

Do you mean the part before the chorus at the ending of Dragon Spirit? That super long chain that has blue and red in it? Something like that? ddkkdddkdkdkd (d is red, k is blue). If that is so, then don't worry too much. You'll get better sooner or later, which I believe most of us had this problem in the past. It something that you'll get pass by playing often.

hey~~ u same as me also!! but most of the time i use right hand for d, left for k.. 3 notes one i use 2 hands..

I'm those this-pattern-die-die-must-use-this-hand-to-start people, quasi-piano playing when to be convinient you use that finger for that note etc.
