osu! ~as a taiko simulator

I guess this can go here...
so this guy called aquabluu has made a lot of these "authentic" maps, exact copies of the original beatmaps.

I found osu! and downloaded it, but unfortunately cannot figure out how to use the beatmap creator yet. Tried to do something with Saitama2000 but it's a bit confusing. http://osu.ppy.sh/

Tried to play around with the Taiko Map in Osu! program
Mint, you have the osu program right?
Can check for me whether the song i map out, the timing is correct??
Just load it into your program and play.
My beatmap is according to the arcade version of Season of Asia Musukashii

After mapping the beatmaps for hours + repeating again and again, got lost in the beats. LoLz~
Feel that there's something funny about my beat somewhere, but can't point out the exact note.
So anyone can help me check and play it besides mint, will be much appreciated~

That's funny cos' isn't it suppose to work when you just drag the file into the osu program window?

If not, try unzipping this file.
Dump the whole folder into the "songs" folder under the osu program in your drive where you installed the program:

Yupp can be played, and don't think there's anything wrong with the timings.

That's funny, i play it on auto and a some beats sound lagging in timing. @.@

Hmm... I was playing while CK was watching and he didn't detect anything amiss. He's the one with the better sense of rhythm..... Maybe we need more opinions!

I think i found some of it. xD

(you see the 1/8 beat snap division at the top right corner under edit mode?)
Beginning first 8 beats were 0.5/8 slower at the beat snap division bar
0:30:704, the don there is faster by 0.5/8 at the beat snap division bar
0:40-0:43 beats there were all 0.5/8 faster
1:09-1:12 added a timing section to slow down cos' ddk is rushing a tiny bit. xD

and a couple little stuffs here which i've fixed. xD

You can also get the Taiko skin V3 by Luigihann, just search for it on http://osu.ppy.sh

PS. You're meant to leave the osz/zip files in the songs folder and osu! unzips it when you next go into the song select menu. HOWEVER, with osz files you can just click on them and they open the game up and extract to the song folder automatically.

Lolz, besides, i'm not wasting time since i'm doing beatmaps for fun and i get to learn something more in that osu program by exploring.

osu is fun just that, when i miss, theres like , a person screaming. so it stops me for like 3 secs. ( 10 notes gone ) get back in the beat ( 20 notes gone ) song ends. ( hurts. T.T )

btw, who cares I dont unlock haya in taiko? I got them in osu. lol

i play osu! and i love taiko mode its my favorite :3 plz find me im obwajui ;3 if you want to have a map modded then find a person who is a regestered map modder and private message them the map and they will give you there finnished copy (and if you dont want it to be public then dont let anyone have it except if you personally give the link to someone) im not a mapper though but plz play with me im gona make taiko multi games on weekends (cant play on weekdays -.-)
