As a guide, I bought mine from a CO shop at Bras Besah Complex, and it cost me $20. Well, yuu thinks that mine is not bad, so the price was worth it.

i am making my own bachi now .
use rolling pin , than use sand paper to smooth it.

Would love to see it! And of course see you and YM play! (Haven't had the chance to meet you girls yet, haha~)

The rolling pin really very hard (not easy to break) and yet very cheap !
So if got any new taiko-ers want to find a pair of bachi ,
we tell them to go to buy from the aunty .

for me i was despo to sandpaper it asap so when i got mine i sandpaper-ed it immediately outside the shop for 30-45min hardcore sandpapering. (:

but i failed
so i got japanese books and paper at home

ok . i will try .
i only understand some simple words .
maybe cannot count as book ba, my book is photocopied from a book.
and list of japanese words ,from A - Z .
i don't buy any japanese book , cause very expensive
so i normally find japanese language document from website and print out.

Where learning Japanese is concerned, I strongly recommend you make use of printed resources. If you need to *ahem* get hold of the *ahem ahem* necessary resources I don't mind helping a friend... *ahem ahem* but if you just need online resources, check out my self-intro thread
